A state wide art selection program to increase the collection of the Sabah Art Gallery and discover and encourage creative individuals to follow their passion in art. Entry forms are available at the Sabah Art Gallery and all submission centers around Sabah.

A major annual art works exhibition involving all the selected and awarded art works by local artists from secondary school students and professional artists where participation opens to all Malaysian who is residing in Sabah. The award-winning works featuring masterpieces on varied subjects and topics are all related to Sabah giving them a distinctive ethnic theme.

The highlight of Sabah Annual Art Selection is on the Award night where selected artworks are exhibited and awards giving ceremony to the selected participants.

The show is also held as part of the Head of State’s Birthday Celebration and will be officially graced by the Head of State himself.
